Winter traditions

In Winter our tradition is to eat cheese fondue.
Every year on the 25th December, we celebrate Christmas.We offer and receive gifts and spend moment with family or friends.

Easter traditions

For Easter we eat chocolate rabbits or chocolate eggs. It’s fun because parents have fun hidings eggs and children have to look for them and find them.

La fête des vignerons

Every 25 years, there is “La fête des vignerons“. The show pays tribute to the traditions and the wine world, several performances take place on the Market square on the shores of Lake Geneva.

La Désalpes

In Autumn, there is “La Desalpe“. There is the descent of the cows to the plain after more than 4 months spent on the alpage.

La Poya

In spring, there is “La Poya“.It’s a tradition where the cows go in the mountains to spend the summer season.

National Day

On August 1st we celebrate the Swiss national day. It’s  a party where there are fireworks launched in the air.

Swiss Army Knife

We also have the famous Swiss knife. It’s convenient if you need it on camping or occasion. It’s small and easy to take away with you.
