In Lausanne
The olympic Museum, it is located in Vide and by the lake side.There is a library inside.It was recently built and there are a lot of medals and trophies of winter and summer games.The logo has five rings of different colors.During the olympic week there are a lot of mini games.next to the Olympic museum there is a parking.
In Montreux
The Chillon Castle is located in Montreux. This Castle was built in the 10th century. The Castle is 110 meters long and 50 meters high. It’s a big castle. In 2019 the Castle experienced a historic attendance record with more than 430’000. This Castle has inspired the film called the ( Little Mermaid ).
In Lucerne
The bridge is actually called Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge) due to the proximity of St. Peter’s Chapel. The Lucerne Bridge was built in 1333, it was rebuilt in 1994 after a fire, it crosses Lake Lucern over a length of 204 meters. It is the 2nd longest covered wooden bridge in Europe. It was shortened because of the risk of flooding, fire and the construction of a new wharf. Inside there are 17th century oil paintings. The paintings were donated by the bourgeoisie and retrace the history Switzerland along the entire length the bridge . There were 150 paintings . In 1993,a fire destroyed many paintings with same parts of the bridge.
